2013 Fall Season Fees

 

Parents, here is a list of the fees you owe us for the fall season, with explanations and information on payment below:

Summer Indoor Fees – If you played indoor soccer with my teams last summer, your fees were rolled over here. Want to know about how to play indoor soccer during the offseasons? Email me.

EDDOA Fall Fees – This is the league fee we pay to our league, EDDOA (Eastern District Division One Association), to be able to play in the league.

Tournament Fees – This is to cover a tournament that we will play in this season.

Backpack Fees – The cost of getting your son’s initials put on their backpacks.

Yemane Scholarship Fee – Abraham Yemane’s family needs help to pay their fees. Although he is on scholarship, an Express scholarship only covers the cost of training, while all other fees (see below for a full explanation) must still be paid. So we have instituted a “team scholarship” for Abraham to cover the remaining costs so that he can play soccer. No one who is currently a scholarship recipient puts money in to this fund.

How to Pay

You can write me a check and bring it to me at any practice or game, or mail it to me (email me for the address). However, I my preferred method of payment is via PayPal. It is quite convenient, very easy to set up (it literally takes a minute). You can pay from your linked bank account or credit card (I will pay the fees). This really is a great way to handle charges; it keeps a permanent record of your payment so if I every make a mistake and forget to note you’ve paid (it’s happened) it is easy to confirm through PayPal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: This all seems like a lot of money, and I’ve already paid a lot. Can you clarify this?

A: When you registered your son you paid a $300 registration fee. This mostly covered the cost of the uniform. Then we had on August 15th another $300 fee due. This club fee covers administrative and facility costs for the club (this is what pays for the major remodeling and expansion at South Campus and McGovern). Next up we will have training fees of $950 due, either as a lump sum or in installments with the first installment due, I believe, in September. It is a lot of money, but keep in mind that the registration, club, and training fees cover the entire year.

Q: So what will we pay in the Spring?

A: In the past there has been a $25 Spring registration fee. In addition you will need to pay EDDOA fees again as in the fall and any necessary tournament fees.

Q: What if we don’t end up playing in a tournament this season?

A: We will hold on to the money and apply it to either league fees or tournament costs in the Spring.
